Why the community needs usTo widen public access to and appreciation of the arts, through the production and maintenance of the Godiva Awakes Project and unique cultural events and activities for Coventry and the region, which combine artistic excellence with community engagement and offer opportunities for learning, participation and personal development, particularly for young people and communities who have previously had little or no access to the arts, with a view to improving peoples opportunities in life
