Our much loved Children's Play Park is now rather tired and in need of renewal. Recent B&NES Council safety inspections have drawn our attention to the fact that much of the equipment is reaching the end of its useful life and will require replacement over the next 18 months. Therefore we have launched an appeal to raise the necessary sum of £50,000 in time to complete the project by Spring of 2020.

We want to keep the natural countryside feel of the landscaping, just to renew the rotted wooden structures and perimeter fencing, refresh the grass and improve drainage, so our main objective is to replace most or all of the play equipment with exciting new items composed of similar natural materials.

The project is backed by Wellow Parish Council who are owners of the Play Park and managed by a team from local charity Wellow Recreation who look after the maintenance of the Playing Field and Play Park on behalf of the PC.
