Motivatemetees

Today we visit Motivatemetees, an interactive activity-based multi-faceted wellbeing company based in the West Midlands.

It’s just celebrated its first birthday and was primarily created to assist with the rise in mental health related issues and wellbeing that had occurred during the post-pandemic crisis.

As a remote emergency response for groups and communities, Motivatemetees developed facilitated workshop/activity day event programs throughout Birmingham and the West Midlands areas to support vulnerable children, young people, adults, and families.

As specialists in bulk teaching, Motivatemetees also created an all-inclusive program for the provision of individuals aged 5-75+ years old with SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities) that includes the implementation of effective therapies such as (SFBT) Solution Focused Brief Therapy; a form of solution finding and positive practise and the incorporation of practical activities/ personal development coaching to encourage children and adults to interact & build self-confidence, emotional resilience, and independence.

As a result of the rise in mental health related issues and wellbeing with mental health service lead times, Motivatemetees researched and identified a need for intersectional, early interventions and effective provisions to support individuals with well-being through to transitioning to adopt healthier mindsets and the reinforcement of positive behaviours.

In terms of objectives, Dee Walcott, Managing Director of Motivatemetees highlights that their future aims are to expand and access a wider range of group; “We would like to introduce new products to our services and obtain further collaborations and partnerships. The business develops its own range of products, we would like to continue research and development into the benefits of utilizing our service packages.”

To conclude Walcott adds “We would like to thank Localgiving for all their support. Through acquiring funding/ grants from Localgiving we have supported more than 600+ children and adults. Localgiving is helping us to reach out to people in need and through their commitment and generosity, we continue to support those. Thank you!”
