The following are a list of organisations we work with and trusted partners who have provided support and help to our mission.
In addition, we have provided a list of free and discounted services for charities that we recommend.
The FSI - works to support small charities by providing training, conferences and mentoring opportunities. It also runs Small Charity Week each year - in 2016, Localgiving ran a #GiveMe5 campaign on the 16th of June as part of Fundraising Day to help small local charities raise much needed funding. You can find details of FSI training and conferences on our events calendar. Local charities that are members of the FSI can claim a free one-year Localgiving membership.
The Institute of Fundraising - the professional membership body for UK fundraising. It supports fundraisers through leadership and representation; best practice and compliance; education and networking; and champions and promotes fundraising as a career choice. Local charities that are members of the IoF have the opportunity to claim a free one-year Localgiving membership until the end of 2017.
NCVO - champions the voluntary sector and volunteering because they’re essential for a better society. It does this by connecting, representing and supporting voluntary organisations. Localgiving charity members with an annual income of under £50k have the opportunity to access free NCVO membership. Those that have an annual income over £50k can receive a 20% discount. The offer is open to all groups that are not yet members of NCVO and have an active Localgiving membership.
Small Charities Coalition - a national umbrella and capacity-building organisation. It exists to help trustees, staff and volunteers of small charities access the skills, tools, and information they need to get going and do what they do best. Give As You Live - a free and easy way to raise money for your favourite charity, just by shopping online. All members of Localgiving are automatically able to benefit from Give As You Live commissions. Search for a local cause to support here.
Google Ad Grants - provides charities with $10,000 of AdWords advertising spend each month, absolutely free.
Bates Wells Braithwaite - the leading charity law firm in the country, providing specialist services to charities, social enterprises and not-for-profit organisations. Ethical Property Foundation - supports charities and not for profits with quality property advice free at the point of access, as well as training and consultancy services.
Ask Charity - a free service designed to help charities and journalists work together. Journalists can use it to find case studies, spokespeople and information from charities. Charities can use it to expand their media contacts lists, develop relationships and achieve more (or broader) media coverage.
Pressat - a PR newswire service that provides a free option for charities and social enterprises to distribute their press releases.
Slack Communications - a full-service publishing and communications agency providing editorial, PR, communications and fundraising services for charities, government, businesses and media outlets.
Blake House - a value-driven filmmakers’ co-operative creating effective and fairly priced video content for the Third Sector, which includes co-operatives, social enterprises, charities, NGOs as well as academics and journalists.
Emma Beeston Consultancy - advises individuals, trusts and businesses on giving. Works to ensure that donations are applied with a clear purpose and backed with robust research and assessment.
