Westminster Development Programme

Supporting local charities & community groups in Westminster to engage with online fundraising

About the programme

Thanks to funding from the London Leg Up Fund, The Big Lottery Fund and City of Westminster Council, Localgiving is able to provide groups in Westminster with the chance to develop their online fundraising capabilities, as well as providing each of these groups with up to £250 in matched funds for donations received online.

The programme aims to help groups to diversify and grow the income they receive, making them more resilient and sustainable in a time of increased stresses and strains for the third sector.

Our Westminster Development Project is being managed by Conor Kelly, who has worked on a variety fundraising projects with groups in Westminster.

How it works

The Development Project Provides:

  • One year sponsored membership of Localgiving worth £96
  • One-to-one support with online fundraising
  • Free in-person group training sessions

Please note you must have a Westminster post code and have attended a Localgiving training session to join.

Localgiving also has a small number of spaces for groups in the London Boroughs of Camden and Islington. Please get in contact directly for more information.

"In the first 2 months we made nearly £1,000. It is encouraging to know that we have the support of Conor and the Localgiving team at the end of the phone. Localgiving has made a big difference to the club.”
