City farm at the heart of Islington

Freightliners city farm is a small green space in the heart of the London borough of Islington. It aims to bring a little bit of the countryside into the city. Enabling London people, especially children and young people who otherwise would not have such opportunities, to explore gardens and hedgerows, grow food and interact with farm animals and wildlife. The farm also provides training and therapeutic placement supporting people in achieving their goals and gaining new skills for the future

Provides the opportunity for local individuals and groups to learn from and interact with the environment and each other through animal care, horticulture and sustainable practices.
