About the appeal

Boys and Girls Clubs Of Wales National Girls' Football Team is seeking support to help pay for an annual event giving the girls an opportunity to play BGC Scotland's Girls' Team at an event in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales in July 2023.

We will be hosting the Scotland Team for a weekend event culminating in the matches.
In the current cost of living crisis, it has been really difficult to ask the families for the subs and fees for the preparation and the lead up to the event and we would love to be able to offer the opportunity without putting additional pressure on the players families.

The Impact of last years event in Scotland:

“I had a fantastic time at BGC Wales last season, it was an amazing time. It was great to be with different coaches and girls from other teams and learn about different tactics. The whole trip to Scotland was beyond anything I could imagine and something I will never forget. Everyone at BGC Wales and Scotland made some fantastic memories and moments for all of us.
