About the appeal

We are a charitable project based in Kingston. We provide a day service (open 5 days a week) to vulnerable adults living in Kingston, who may have learning disabilities, mental health and physical health issues and also other vulnerable people who are at risk of social isolation, social exclusion and loneliness.

We offer job employment skills, life skills, cooking skills and a range of other interesting activities, alongside a friendly community, which is essential to our clients for social inclusion, their mental health and general wellbeing. SADLY DUE TO LOCKDOWN WE HAVE TO SHUT OUR DOORS.

Right now we are doing everything possible to sustain operations and provide services to our clients out in the community, by providing outreach services and support.

Why the community needs us.

Adults who feel socially isolated and excluded are at risk of suffering from poor mental and physical health. However, they can increase their feelings of wellbeing by being part of our community, thereby reducing levels of anxiety, depression and risks of other diseases.

But we need you more than ever to help us raise vital funds so that we can provide these essential services to our clients through this third lockdown and beyond.

PLEASE DONATE TO OUR APPEAL TODAY.

£10 will pay for art materials/or other resources which makes a big difference to someone living alone during this time. £25 will pay for clients to attend online exercise sessions with a wellbeing trainer. £50 will pay for 1-1 client support sessions including emotional and mental health support.
