About the appeal

Help us to bring joy and delight this Christmas. Christmas can be a difficult time of year especially if you cannot afford to buy food let alone a present for your child. The people we support through Bath Foodbank may struggle to buy a gift for their children to open on Christmas day. For our Genesis Life Projects guests who may be homeless or vulnerable it can be a sad and lonely time disconnected from family and friends.

Our Christmas Gifts Appeal aims to bring joy to the families and the individual people we help.

We wish to provide a £25 toy voucher from The Entertainer to parents supported by Bath Foodbank for each of their children. This enables parents to have the choice of what to give their child, something that they know that they will like, and for older kids to choose for themselves. There will be a gift under the tree this year on Christmas morning and joy and delight for the parents and children.

For our Genesis Life Projects guests, a gift from us might be the only one they will receive for Christmas. We would like to make this a thoughtful gift to show that they are known and loved by our staff and volunteers.

Please donate to our Christmas Gifts Appeal so we can buy gifts for our guests and toy shop vouchers for the children to help to bring a little joy into peoples' lives this Christmas.
