Derventio is a registered social landlord providing housing and support to people facing homelessness and other challenges. We offer safe and secure accommodation and support people to develop independent living skills, keep their home and ultimately reduce the risk of them facing homelessness again. We also provide specialist services to empower people to take control of their lives and achieve their goals. By supporting Derventio you are helping people change their lives for the better.

Why the community needs us
We work with people facing homelessness and other challenges to make positive changes to their lives. Supporting people to find suitable housing and live independent and stable lives has benefits for the whole community. It can reduce crime and anti-social behaviour. It means that people are healthier and frees up health and social care resources. It also means that more people are in work, education or training, which is good for the local economy.

Our impact on the community
Since 2010 we have welcomed more than 11,000 people into our housing, support and employability services. That number represents countless achievements - some big, some small, but all important in their own way. Shania is now claiming the right benefits and is on track to clearing her debts. Carl has learnt some therapeutic exercises to improve his mental health. Dean has moved into a private rented house after being homeless.
