Our main aim is to bring people together from different faiths and beliefs to find common ground.
Our main aim is to bring people together from different faiths and beliefs, and those of no faith, to find common ground for the future well being of everyone.
Why the community needs usCornwall Faith Forum brings together people from seven faith communities (Baha'i, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim and Pagan) and the Humanist Group in Cornwall. Our vision has three strands - Building for Peace, Learning for Peace and Sharing and Celebrating Peace.
Our impact on the communityThe 'building for peace' strand comprises of creating a sacred space called the Dor Kemmyn Oval (Cornish for Common Ground) - Centre for Peace & Faith in Truro where planning permission has been already granted. Learning for Peace - involves our programme of faith workshops to schools, colleges and to adults (inc. carers, chaplaincy and NHS staff). Sharing and celebrating Peace - where we meet together for walks, sharing festivals and socialising together (usually with food!)
