Caroline is running the London marathon

On 22nd April I’ll be running the London Marathon and will be trying to raise some money for Vision North Somerset. Vision North Somerset are a charity who provide practical and emotional support for people with visual impairments. My Dad lost a lot of his sight 18 months ago, and Vision North Somerset were really great at a difficult time, giving a lot of support and practical help. They are a relatively small charity and are suffering from financial cuts so need as much help as possible to continue their important work. This will be the first marathon I have ever attempted, and after completing a half marathon last year I declared it was too far and I didn’t want to do anything like that again, so believe me, a whole marathon will be no walk in the park for me! I’m hoping that every step will be made a little easier knowing that I’ll be raising some money for this valuable charity!
