Scouting enables young people to gain knowledge and experiences benefiting their adult life
Scouting provides young people of both sexes with training that better equips them to fulfil adult needs. Young people attending a scout group are attentive at school and employers look favourably upon applicants with scouting backgrounds. Outdoor activities-camps, hikes, climbing etc. are essential elements of training, as they allow scouts to develop their own personality, leadership qualities and problem solving skills needed in everyday life.
Why the community needs usThe skills they learn will develop their interest in other leisure activities & other cultures. Working together as teams will highlight those with leadership qualities. Activities benefit education by stimulating the interest in learning.
