Rotary Club of Bath "Go the Extra Mile" campaign 2020-21

The Rotary Club of Bath is in its hundreth year, but what a year this is.

We can't organise our usual public fund-raising events, but the local needs we help raise money for haven't gone away.

Instead, we are trying to raise money online by collecting the equivalent of a row of pennies from Bath's Guildhall, in the centre of the City, to Lansdown Golf Club, where in normal times we have our meetings, a distance of three miles.

Every penny we raise will go directly to charities helping people in Bath. Can you help?

Why the community needs us
We have strong links with many local charities. Thsi year in particular we want to help groups with an emphasis on those with mental health issues, and children - subjects most hard hit during the current crisis.

Our impact on the communityEvery normal year we raise thousands of pounds for local charities. We also volunteer and work with schools and students

would extend our virtual line of pennies by a tenth of a furlong, or 22 yards

would mean our line of pennies is half a furlong further up Lansdown Hill

would be the equivalent of just over a furlong or an eighth of a mile of pennies!
