To reach into community settings with information and workshops. To share our story of a daughter caring for her father with mesothelioma. To run tailored workshops to help people share their story of living with asbestos and their role as carer, patient, family member, friend

Why they need our service

To raise awareness among children and young people about asbestos, the risks involved, mistakes made in the past and associated illnesses, how to care and support for people with asbestos related diseases and information about the work of our charity AASC.

Plan and expected results

Increased awareness, safer working practices, greater recognition of the health needs of those living with asbestos related illnesses. Improved knowledge of asbestos its dangers and the illnesses related to it.
