We train assistance dogs to increase the independence and wellbeing of disabled young people and children on the Isle of Wight. As well as helping with practical tasks, like picking up items, opening doors, helping dress and undress, our ability dogs help increase disabled young people's confidence and self-esteem. There is no charge to a disabled person for the provision of our assistance dogs and we cover all the dog's costs for food, equipment and vet bills throughout their working life.
