We are based in the rural market town of Machynlleth in Mid-Wales and our extended community base covers Powys, Ceredigion and Gwynedd.
How can people access our services?
We offer a drop-in service 3 days a week as well as a regular outreach service, home visits, care home visits and hospital visits. We also offer friendly advice over the phone and via email.
Our impact within the community
Over the last year we have dealt with over 1200 cases and enquiries at our Advice Centre. During this time our advice and support created a positive financial impact within our community in excess of half a million pounds, including £260,000.00 worth of debt we helped our clients manage. In the current economic climate our work around income maximisation and debt management is increasingly crucial. We offer free, friendly and confidential advice and support on a wide range of social issues, including Personal Independence Payments (disability support), pensions, universal credit, housing & homelessness and much more.
We are an independent registered charity entirely reliant on donations and grant-aided funding to carry on our vital work in the community. Your donations really do mean the world to us and our clients.
