Aidan's Activity Fund provides activities and craft items to the children being treated as inpatients at the Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth. These might be small items that the children get to keep, for example coloring books and pens, painting activities, small toys, to larger items that the hospital collect back when the child leaves, DVD's and DVD players, small tablets, game consoles.
Why the community needs usIf you have ever spent time in hospital you will know just how slowly the time passes. By providing small activities we hope to distract the children from their situation, and help keep them entertained until they get to leave.
