Urban Design Project

The work was carried out by The Urban Glow in 2017, together with volunteers from the Forum. The project explored the current character of Aireborough and looked at suggestions for how it should improve.

Why they need our service

New sports and community art facilities? Micro-business hubs for small businesses? Better parking? Revitalisation of the area around Old Dog Mill and making Guiseley Gyratory more pedestrian friendly? The Neighbourhood Plan wanted to.commission work to look at a better urban design for Aireborough, which has grown too piecemeal

Plan and expected results

The output from the project is here https://issuu.com/theurbanglow/docs/aireborough_master_final_op it is now being used in public consultations, and to design a master plan for Aireborough together with the policies for the Neighbourhood Plan.
