The Whole Hog and The Great East Run 2019!
Some of our staff are taking part in various challenges to raise money for the Empowerment Fund!
Richard completed the Great East Run on 22nd September and Natasha, Clare, Sabrina, Kirsty, Wayne, Michelle and David are taking on the Whole Hog on 13th October 2019. The course is five miles long and challenges include crawling (under cargo nets), climbing (up steep banks and walls), wading through rivers, tunnels, slides, jumps, swings and monkey bars…
Why they need our service Our Empowerment Fund is funded purely by donations for ad hoc expenses that cannot be covered by loans and grants. The fund provides money for things such as clothing and toys for families that have fled their homes for whatever reason, travel and clothing allowances for interviews for our unemployed service users and furniture for those people that we house.
