Supporting Arbour Vale Special Needs School and the local community.
Arbour Vale School is a special needs school in Slough, providing for nearly 300 students with special educational needs. We provide education and extra-curricular activities for pupils between 3 years and 19 years who have disabilities and differing complex needs
Our aim is to provide an inclusive vibrant school, to enable every child to fulfil their full potential, grow in confidence and above all, be happy. Why the community needs us
Due to the complex needs of some Children and Young People, the specialist equipment used can be very expensive and regularly needs replacing. Funds raised enable the school to provide bespoke equipment and suitably adapted activities, needed transport to access events and the community and valuable support to parents and careers. Our impact on the community
Children and Young People with special needs aged from 3 to 19 have access to facilities that are tailored to their needs. The school not only provides during the school day but is open to the community evenings, weekends and school holidays with a range of activities that would otherwise be out of their reach. Specialist equipment purchased provides learning opportunities; helps develop new skills, creating independence, creativity and motivation.
