Ataxia & Me wristbands are for all those that are affected by Ataxia. (Patients, Family members or Carers. It will raise awareness of this condition (as well as an ALERT, in the case of a patient, in medical emergency conditions). Ataxia in a Greek word meaning Lack of order. Ataxia affects the balance, co-ordination and speech (hence being accused of being drunk, is a common occurrence ).
