We are charitable orgainsation involved in learning work and social integration.
The purpose of our organisation is to improve social integration and provide a harmonious community environment whereby all can learn and share experiences in a positive light and move forward with confidence. All our activities are aimed at helping to bring local people of all cultures together, take up learning programmes, motivate residents and in particular those from deprived communities and background with finding and sustaining employment.
Why the community needs usBelong has had a major impact in the local community by working closely with local Jobcentres and providing a complimentary employability service; working in partnership with other charitable and voluntary organisations in the locality and region, helping young people and their needs to be recognised and championed by main stream organisations and institutions along with motivating individual residents to seek opportunities in learning and work.
Our impact on the communityWe are currently looking for volunteers to assist with help with providing a mentoring service to our customers, particularly young people, along with the general running of a number of projects (Administration, reception...).
