Schools working together to improve the learning and lives of all members of our school communities
The Brighton City Partnership for Education (BCPfE) is a charity, made-up of 13 local and maintained nurseries, primaries, infant and junior schools, with collectively over 3,000 children aged 0-11 years. Member schools work collaboratively to enhance the children's school experience and opportunities. BCPfE delivers services and projects to support children's learning, emotional and physical wellbeing, as well as the wellbeing of their families and the wider community.
Why the community needs usBCPfE schools work together to enhance the education and wellbeing of our children and families, ensuring they have opportunities to thrive. This is achieved through school to school support and challenge, family support and enrichment opportunities. Our Family Support Service offers high quality support and information, accessible to all our families, to bring about positive change in a non-judgemental and respectful way.
Our impact on the communityIn 2016-2017, 113 families received intensive 1:1 bespoke whole family support; 297 families received information, advice and support through our Family Support Service. 87 children took part in our Babywatching programme, delivered by our Family Support Service. 2,095 children took part in BCPfE enrichment events, such as residentials, transition support, outdoor learning, arts, music and dance events over the course of the year.
