Calderdale DART provides a quality advice and information service to people with disabilities.
We are established for the benefit of persons with any disability who live in Calderdale.We aim to provide advice and information to enhance equal access to work; state benefits; education etc and all other facilities.
Why the community needs usWe provide a specific advice and information service to assist people with disabilities and Carers to access services in the area. We help to claim the benefits to which they are entitled and provide information through a quarterly Newsletter.
Our impact on the communityOur work generates additional welfare benefits for clients who spend the extra resources on goods and services in the area which helps boost the local economy. We also provide advice/information on local services.
We need Volunteers to assist with general clerical duties such as reception, photocopying, newsletter production, website design/updating, word processing and other general office duties.
