Our community centre and garden is a hub for social and therapeutic horticulture, sports and community support. We work with volunteers and local residents individually and in small groups so they have safe access to green space. Open 7 days a week, we achieve our aims through the following programmes:• A horticultural volunteering and training programme for older people, people with learning disabilities and mental health issues.• Sustainable food growing incorporating an innovative closed loop food cycle and food waste recycling demonstration site, allotments for local residents and emergency food response for vulnerable people.• Supervised arts and environmental activities for children aged 0-14 and their families during weekends and school holidays.• Sports development including football coaching and training for disabled people, children, women and young people and walking football for older people.
Why the community needs us
Food Support Hub
It's been two years since we established our Food Bank providing emergency food deliveries to sick or isolating people. We expected this to last as long as Covid yet the demand for food still exists. Many of our beneficiaries have serious health conditions or disabilities which means they struggle to get to the shops to get their own shopping.

Your donation will fund our Food Support Hub. With food donations from the Felix Project and Kentish Town Veg Box as well as vegetable grown in our own garden, we will create healthy meals. Cooking sessions will be led by a qualified chef and participants will learn how to make delicious food that will then be delivered to vulnerable people. We will invite members of our diverse community to lead cooking sessions, sharing recipes from their own culture. Your donation will also enable us to recruit and support a team of volunteers to distribute the food to people's homes, providing training and DBS checks. The Food Support Hub brings our community together to support one another.

27 isolated older people receive healthy food via our food support hub
45 primary school children each week take part in forest school activities
We also host a number of partner organisations to increase and improve our offer to the community.
