Chorley FC Supporters Trust exists to develop the links between Chorley FC and the Chorley Community
Chorley FC Supporters Trust exists to help and support Chorley FC to develop its role within the local community, to improve communication with the fans and to enable fans to help the club progress through their involvement. We operate democratically, fairly, sustainably, transparently and with financial responsibility and encourage Chorley FC to do likewise. Our aim is to see Chorley FC become a Community Benefit Society owned by the people of Chorley and supporters of the Football Club
Why the community needs usWe have raised several thousand pounds for youth development and women's football in Chorley. We are currently planning our annual sponsored walk. which will this year take place on the last day of the season for our away match at Boreham Wood. We will be raising money for Sporting memories, Rosemere Cancer Foundation and the Supporters Trust. We have raised thousands of pounds for other local good causes.
Our impact on the communityChorley Supporters Trust have raised money for local charities, including the Friends For You visiting service and Galloway's Society for the Blind. We funded a new Public Address system and disabled access ramp at Victory Park. We support youth development at Chorley FC, paying £3000 in the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons. We now own a 9% stake in Chorley FC, have two seats on the Football Club board, and want to move towards greater community ownership.
