Our peer group support meetings offer a crucial sharing experience for parents under stress. It brings parents together to receive advice, support and information relevant to the family, as well as providing parents a safe place to vent, form friendships and to offer mutual encouragement. These regular meetings develop a sense of belonging in a world that often unfairly stigmatizes parents of children with additional needs.
CBS offer tailored one to one support sessions for parents and these sessions provide parents with empathy, knowledge, understanding and skills in a safe space along with advice and guidance. We have extensive experience of the practical and emotional challenges of educational issues for parents of children with additional needs. We can help broker a more positive outcome with schools, support agencies and help parents to develop coping strategies and build emotional resilience.
Thank you for your support and helping us to help families in need.
