Community Golf delivers a diverse range of golf activation programmes to inspire people of all ages and abilities to get involved in the beautiful game. Everything we do at Community Golf is designed to have a positive impact. Our interactive sessions complement the traditional golf format while making the game more appealing and inclusive to young people and those that have not played before. Our priority is to have FUN and simply give golf a try!
Why the community needs usTaking part in our programme enables people to engage with the game, learn new skills, make new friends, build character and resilience, improve their health and wellbeing and most importantly have fun! Our league structure also enables individuals and teams to enjoy some friendly competition as they compete against other groups that we work with across the wider community.
Our impact on the communityWe have worked with over 80 groups across London and the South East in the last year to deliver golf in a fun and accessible way. During 2016 our 6 week summer holiday programme alone reached 516 people, 96 of whom had a disability and 34% of whom were first time golfers.
We are always looking for volunteers who are keen to either help out at sessions or develop their skills whilst supporting other aspects of operation at Community Golf
