Dorset Table Tennis Centre bringing sport, fun and an experience of community to all.
Dorset Table Tennis Centre has been open now for just over a year. It's purpose, as a community club, is to offer table tennis activities to people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities in the local area. For young people it offers a nurturing environment where children can improve their table tennis as well as grow in confidence and self esteem. For teenagers, there are opportunities to mentor younger players, take coaching courses or develop other roles to enhance the centre. All are welcome!
Why the community needs usOur impact on the communityDorset Table Tennis Centre offers a host of activities throughout the week. Coaching groups include sessions for Juniors, Seniors and U3A or more mature members of our Community. A Pairs League takes place on a Wednesday evening for players ranging from beginners to the more advanced. There are also development and high performance sessions which take place on a Tuesday evening for young players keen to take their game to the next level. Pupils from the Grange school are particularly welcome!
