east to west provides a localised response to vulnerable and 'at risk' young people and families
east to west is a Christian Youth Work Charity seeking to bring Hope to vulnerable and 'at risk' young people in Surrey and Berkshire. Hope is outworked through what east to west calls Relational Support Work and Relational Support Work outworks itself through the following projects providing a long term commitment to journey with children, young people and families.

Why the community needs usWorking in 4 secondary schools and 3 first schools east to west draws alongside approx. 1000 young people and families each year who are struggling with issues ranging from: Alienation to Abuse, Bullying to Bereavement and Self-Esteem to Selfharm.
Working with local police forces, east to west draws alongside young people involved in anti-social behaviour help them reach their potential
Working in North Surrey and soon Berkshire, east to west, provides accommodation for homeless 16-17 yr old
Our impact on the communitySchools work: providing approx 1000 young people and families each year with the support and coping mechanisms needed to ensure they can move forward in life.
Police work: working with 40 young people each year helping them to walk away from criminality and into work and or education, finding purpose.
Homeless work: through a supporting family and network enabling 12 homeless young people eadch year to re-engage with society, work and or education.
