Embercombe inspires people to actively contribute to the emergence of a world that is peaceful, just and sustainable. When we engage with the land through our hands, and enquire into big questions, we profoundly transform our thinking and our contribution. This is why we are raising funds for Catalyst, our flagship programme for young people that enables them to launch themselves into the world as engaged citizens and part of a community of leaders and change makers.
Why the community needs usWe work with people from all backgrounds, inviting them on a journey to unleash their positive people power for the good of us all. People who come to Embercombe get clear on what they love about being alive, what their gifts are and how, by offering these to their community, they can live a more satisfying and fulfilled life.
Our impact on the communityWe host over 1000 adults and 700 young people every year, helping transform their views of the future and themselves. We also work with businesses and organisations, helping them transform their values. Embercombe is a centre based around a gorgeous 50 acre site that welcomes everyone who is embarking on a journey of self discovery and courageous action.
Yes, we'd love any keen volunteers to help work in our organic gardens, orchard, woodlands, cooking, events, also for general office support.
