The Evelyn Oldfield Unit (EOU) is a registered charity committed to providing services and support to help members of our society fulfil their potential and make a positive contribution. We work specifically to meet the needs of Black, Asian, minority, ethnic, and refugee (BAMER) communities. To accomplish this, the EOU provides services and support directly to individuals, as well as offering tools and resources to refugee and migrant community organisations.
Why the community needs usWe provide a variety of services to individuals, including mentoring schemes for students, courses for new or early English learners and pro bono legal advice. Resources offered to refugee and migrant organisations include accredited research courses, capacity building workshops and financial management training.
