Citizens Advice Flintshire is not simply an advice agency. Our volunteers and staff work hard to provide information and advice to the people of Flintshire, many of whom are in desperate situations by the time they access our service. We strive to meet the needs of local people whose lives have often been devastated by illness, loss of employment and many other circumstances which can affect people daily.
Why the community needs usWe are a well-established and trusted local advice service and have been providing quality information and advice to residents of Flintshire for over 50 years. We do this to prevent people from living in poverty or becoming homeless and to ensure that clients are not alone and unsupported when facing difficult times.
Our impact on the communityOver the last 50 years we have helped over 150,000 people. Last year Citizens Advice Flintshire helped over 6,500 people in total. During that time they dealt with £7.2 million of debt. It has also fought to put £2.6 million of benefits back into the community
