Improvements to Crescent Garden Central Area

A project by Friends of Waterloo Seafront Gardens

We will be considering a number of ideas suggested by the public and working with Sefton Council to produce a design for the area which will be both attractive and easy to maintain.

Why they need our service

The central area of Crescent Garden used to comprise of an ornamental pond and flower beds. The area has become run down over the years and it is no longer possible in the present economic climate to maintain it.

Plan and expected results

This will result in improvements in Crescent Garden and the return of an attractive feature to it central area. Update - after liaison and consultation we transformed the central ornamental pond into a raised bed. The work was done by volunteers from our groups and additional grant for the ACE Fund.

Volunteers needed

We need volunteers to help with litter picking and gardening/tidying. Litter picking is on the second Saturday of each month at 10:30am. Gardening/tidying is on the second Tuesday of each month at 9:30am and the fourth Wednesday at 1pm.
