FOAR is a local group of community minded enthusiasts who look after Aristotle Recreation
FOAR consists of a number of enthusiastic local community minded volunteers who want to help to make Aristotle lane a destination point for local children and adults for recreation and relaxation. It is a vibrant community space and it is FOAR's ambition to keep it a green and pleasant land! Most of FOAR's activity is focused around maintaining the grounds and borders. Of particular importance are the working parties that are held each month to help maintain the grounds.
Why the community needs usTo ensure that the recreational space is maintained to a high standard. Local stakeholders have a more effective conduit through which their views and opinions can be channelled through to Oxford City Council Parks Department
Our impact on the communityAs a credible organisation, FOAR has been recognised by local charities which has helped it to attract substantial funding to help it develop facilities on the Rec. This has included a £33,000 grant from WREN for Children's play equipment which will be installed in Q4 2013
