INFORMATION FOR ALL THE TOWN: WELCOME TO WHITCHURCH BROCHURE

A project by From Generation to Generation

We need to raise £8,000 to guarantee the brochure can be published for three years and bring information to the people of Whitchurch in an accessible and easy to read form, ensuring distribution of the brochure in the town so no-one gets left out and everyone receives their free copy. The brochure will be updated annually. The finances for the appeal are broken down as £6,000 for printing for three years, £1500 for updating copy over three years, £500 for distribution over 3 years.

Why they need our service

We need an easy to look at & read brochure for the 10,000 people who live in Whitchurch, Shropshire, so they & newcomers can find everything there is in the town to help them live a happy & healthy life there. The brochure has information & contact details for health services, education, clubs, sports & societies, as well as shops, places to eat, transport, businesses & services. The brochure highlights what is still needed in the town.e.g. It has thriving schools but no youth club.

Plan and expected results

We are aiming to create useful, clear, easily accessible information all in one place. The Welcome to Whitchurch brochure aims to make everyone in the town, all newcomers, & visitors, aware of what is available. The brochure makes all that clear in pictures, as well as a few words. It is organised so that people can find what they want quickly and easily along with the contact details. It shows how lovely our town is, what there is to use and enjoy, and learn from, in it.
