From the beginning of a pre-diagnosis, to treatment advice, and respite for carers, the dementia hub is available for anyone in the local community that needs practical help, advice, or simply some support.
ervices will include Lunch Clubs, Counselling, music therapy, holistic therapies, carer support, financial planning, mobile dental, optical and podiatry services and much more
Why they need our service Joining together a selection of voluntary organisations and statutory services. The Dementia Hub will be an open service to all those at any stage of their journey, whether they are living with dementia or they care for somebody with dementia. A one stop shop for all your needs. The Dementia Hub requires some internal re-modelling to make our services more efficient and to makes the building accessible to all.Plans include building a reception and passenger lift to acess the first floor rooms
Plan and expected results In building the hub we will be able to provide the necessary services to enable people to live well with dementia for longer in their local community and through information, advice and training educate the whole community to become dementia friendly .
