To provide a safe environment for children to learn the skills of football with FA qualified coaches

Founded in 1987 Golden Eagles FC is an England Football Accredited Club.We provide opportunities for children from 6 to 16, regardless of gender, race or ability to play football. We had a girls only team from 2010 to 2013 who really enjoyed their football, with a lot of success.
Season 2023/24 we have an U10's team and U15's team

The U17's have a set of shirts with a magic little grant from 3 years ago, an away kit from Berkshire Community Foundation

Why the community needs us
Gives children a focus and the chance to make new friends. We provide a safe environment for the children to train at our local school. Our secretary won the FA Community Award for Berks and Bucks and the South East Region for 'Outstanding Contribution to Community Football Award 2010'. Two of our ex-players are qualified referees. Our u15's manager achieved his FA Level 2, paid for by the little magic grant. We have signed up to the FA pledge programme.

Our impact on the community
Knowing the pleasure of winning and being able to lose graciously. By encouraging the children to take part in organised football it helps develop social skills and keeps them healthy.
When we started training after Covid 19 lock down it was the only exercise some of the children had had for months.
Many Thanks to those who donated to the match funding for the coronavirus grant and the SCMS for matching. We have bought extra PPE for administering first aid safely, a small table for out QR code and hand sanitiser for spectators and helped out those parents who lost their jobs or were furloughed because of Coronavirus. The grant has paid for extra training costs and buying extra kits for the u18's.
Thanks to The football foundation for their help with returning to football, paying for our new coach to complete his Introduction to Coaching.(old level1), extra sanitisers.

Congratulations to the U18's who won the second division in the Wycombe and South Bucks minor football league as U17's.It went down to the last game ! Unfortunately they are not continuing this season

We won a respect barrier as part of the Grassroots Fund Powered by Utilita Football rebooted.

We received a Magic Little Grant in 2023 through the partnership between Localgiving and Postcode Society Trust. Postcode Society Trust is a grant-giving charity funded by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery. Localgiving is the UK’s leading membership and support network for local charities and community groups.
Our project received £500 to help keep Golden Eagles viable.
