Why the community needs usWe strongly advocate that through the power of sport using football as the vehicle we can bring these young people together along with their elders and wider communities to celebrate the positive sides of living in Cardiff. With key local centres & community hubs closing down we must take the initiative and develop our ownways of bringing our people together. Our community participation rates have been rising year on year with the Cardiff Community CohesionCup, last year we had nearly1000 locals
Our impact on the communityInter-community relation has improved; this has been proven and validated by all leaders and team managers. one of the key benefit with the annual tournament is that we have managed to retain all teams from the previous year and we are not starting from ground Zero. This has benefited new teams entering the tournament becuase they can see the level of trust and communication is exceptionally high
The candidate will be expected to work within, and subscribe to the values of HDA to promote opportunities and qualifications for disadvantaged people, particularly those from BME and migrant communities.
