Basket Brigade Nottingham - hampers of luxury items and gifts for people in need at Christmas
Supporting people to create more Sustainable, Richer and fulfilled lives. At Christmas we run Basket Brigade Nottingham.a project run entirely by volunteers which makes up baskets of luxury food items and a gift for each household member for people in need. They are then delivered with a gift tag that says "this is a gift from your community because you deserve some extra care this Chrsitmaas. Please take care of yourself so that you can do the same for someone else someday!"
Why the community needs usSupporting vulnerable people to create sustainable, richer lives for themselves and to move from dependency to able to contribute to the community. BASKET BRIGADE NOTTINGAM is a annual event completely run by volunteers (no admin costs) so needs youyr help - at whatever level - PLEASE get involved - facebook #basketbrigadenottingham.
Our impact on the communityPeople have shared stores of "a new hope", and believing they are "cared for" and matter! We have seen faces of children and adults light up time after time!
