Supporting people with learning disabilities and autism through life changing daycare programmes
Improving the lives of young people & adults with learning disabilities (l/d) as well as mental health referrals through day programmes, accredited courses and providing work opportunities. Larches Hall, a large open hall for 100 people is ideally located off Edgware High Street amidst the business community where most activities take place.
Why the community needs usLarches House acts as a community hub. It is ideally located in the heart of Edgware Shopping Centre opposite Edgware Tube Station and Bus Terminus, this makes it a very accessible venue for people with learning disabilities and others in the community. Local charities can hire Larches Hall at a discounted rate.
Our impact on the community90 people with learning disabilities access our weekly learning programmes supported by our Tutors and dedicated volunteers.The cookery and craft learners run their own stalls at the Farmers Market every Friday
We require volunteers to support adults with learning disabilities during the classes as well as for the Farmers Market held here every Friday from 11am to 3pm
