Inspiring a love of books and creativity.

Our purpose is to inspire the children of Linton and surrounding villages in South Cambridgeshire with a love of books and reading, and to encourage them to explore their own creativity.

Why the community needs us

Linton Children's Book Festival aims to increase children's interest in reading, writing and art by giving them opportunities to meet authors, illustrators and poets with inspirational talent and enthusiasm. The Festival also offers children other new experiences such as history walks, art exhibitions, storytelling, and art and writing workshops and competitions. Improved literacy is a welcome side-effect of these activities.

Volunteers needed

We especially need volunteers to act as stewards on the weekend of our festival, 21-22 May 2016. Please contact info@lintonbookfest.org if can help us out.
