MK Money Lifeline is a debt advice charity based in Milton Keynes. We offer free, confidential and impartial help and advice on money and debt-related matters, to any person who requires it, negotiating with creditors and people who are owed money. Budgeting advice and help with money management are also offered. All MK Money Lifeline volunteer debt advisors are trained as generalist money advisors.
We are a member of Community Money Advice. Our number is 0300 123 5198.

In June 2020 as a COVID response we launched MK Signpost, a signposting service open 11:00-8:00pm Monday-Friday and 10:00-4:00pm Saturday.

Why the community needs us
MK Money Lifeline promotes healthy attitudes towards spending, giving, earning money and help towards making appropriate repayments to creditors. People find themselves owing money for all sorts of reasons, e.g. relationship pressures, illness and loss of job. Resolution of financial matters often helps in other areas of people's lives leading to people being able to manage their circumstances and hence contributing into the community.

Our impact on the community
Clients get a feeling of peace of mind sometimes even after the first appointment with a MK Money Lifeline advisor. To have "somebody on your side" gives hope that there is "light at the end of the tunnel", commented one of our clients. MK Money Lifeline helps to structure affordable repayments to creditors based on clients ability to pay. Another client commented, ''I've got my life back.'' Many clients have become debt-free following advice from MK Money Lifeline.
