We are a Weapons Awareness Charity aimed at getting weapons awareness on the school curriculum.
Our mission is to campaign for weapons awareness education to be added to the school curriculum for young children and teenagers. To raise awareness of the dangers and consequences of carrying a knife or any other dangerous weapon. To petition for tougher action against knife and weapon crime. To change the mindset of teenagers who think they are 'cool' or 'safe' carrying a weapon of any kind.
Why the community needs usWe focus on education, awareness and the consequences of carrying weapons. We currently operate within the Essex area and our goal is to have a national weapons awareness campaign longer term. We work in association with crime stoppers, fearless and Essex police. Your support could mean the difference between life and death of a child and the dramatic consequences it has on all family members, friends and communities.
Our impact on the communityEvery weapons awareness workshop that we run in schools has questionnaires and feedback forms that will allow us to understand the actual reality of what's going on in our local community. These results are fed back to the head teachers which will help them react to the issues identified.
