Every week we have an exercise class, followed by a cooking demonstration or an informative talk, children are always welcome and its held at the St James Community Centre. We have Free advocacy services by appointment only, a monthly community cafe and periodically we provide free counselling services.
Our impact on the communityWe see on average 30 women per month for free advocacy advise, this service has been going from strength to strength and we have formed great relationships with many key organisations throughout Northampton. Our monthly community cafe has been open now for six months and we feel that it has been successful in bringing communities together and helping to build bridges. We have testimonials from women who have accessed our free counselling sessions to say much improved they feel as a result.
We are always looking for ladies to volunteer and join us at our regular events such as coffee mornings and some of our larger events. Face painters, ladies that can do Henna, bakers, cooks, and all kinds of general help and support always helps any events we organise to run smoothly Inshallah.
