Pericles Theatre Company is an award winning theatre company with people with learning disabilities

Pericles Theatre Company creates theatre projects with adults with learning disabilities. Participants are involved in all aspects of the production from designing and making costumes, masks, props and set through to acting on stage, stage management, fundraising and production. We believe that we all deserve to shine in what we do and to be a valued and respected member of our community. Our productions are full of life, colour and delight.

Why the community needs us
Pericles Theatre Company involves many local talented artists and musicians and its' productions reach enthusiastic audiences. People with complex needs come to us to learn new skills and hone existing ones. As a direct result they can do meaningful work and are appreciated for who they are.

Our impact on the community
People with complex needs become involved and integrated in local communities, learning and doing meaningful work. Important and otherwise dying crafts are maintained in an eco-conscious and sustainable environment. Adults with learning disabilities become skilled craftspeople and meet with appreciation and understanding as a direct result of their work.
