We help young people realise their ambitions and raise their aspirations.
We make the connection between education and the world of work, enabling young people to develop the knowledge and attitudes they need to succeed. Through our promotion of a tailored approach to every child and ensuring they are given relevant opportunities, the PIE Project is helping the North East to lead the way nationally in developing future career and life skills for children as young as 8 years old - traditionally, careers advice is focused on ages 14+.
Why the community needs usBetter skilled and equipped young people will help the whole community. Our focus is to engage all local stakeholders - including parent, teachers and businesses - to provide a holistic approach to personal and professional development. Working with PEERZ Academy we are able to provide young people studying for GCSEs and A-Levels one to one tutoring to help them attain their qualifications using a peer to peer model. Tutoring is proven to make the biggest impact on gaining qualifications.
Our impact on the communityWe have worked with over 50 schools and 3000 pupil delivering vocational enterprise qualifications, providing young people with the currency, experiences and expertise to effectively enter the world of work. Our partnership with PEERZ Academy now demonstrates our commitment to helping young people access the best life choices and chances to positively realise their ambitions. Every young person must attain GCSE Maths and English and we will be able to help them do so.
