We support families bereaved of a child or have a child with a life threatening/limiting condition
Reuben's Retreat is a home-grown charity born in August 2012 just 2 days after Reuben Graham moved to heaven, aged just 23 months. His legacy supports families bereaved of a child as well as children and young people with life limiting or threatening illnesses or disabilities (and their loved ones too). We achieve this through a range of services including counselling, well-being activities, holistic therapies, memory making and short respite breaks. Why the community needs us
We are proud to have helped 630+ beneficiaries to date (as at November 2018) but sadness is never far from our door and we receive new requests for help each week. Every penny and pound you donate helps us to help more families in need. We are also renovating our countryside Retreat (in Glossop, Derbyshire) so that we can provide a sanctuary for families with uncertain futures for decades to come. Please stay close and follow our progress via www.reubensretreat.org or www.facebook.com.Our impact on the community
Volunteers are essential to our cause and we wouldn't be where we are today without our army of generous hearts. We always need more volunteers to help with a range of different tasks, from fundraising to gardening!
