Name a Seat

Commemorate your connection with St John's College, or honour a loved one by naming a seat in the new lecture theatre in our Learning Resource Centre. We are offering current and former members of the College the opportunity to dedicate a chair for £250. Please provide the following information: Name as you would like it to appear on the chair and other information (such as the dates you were at College or particular role held).

Why they need our service

The chair which has an integral writing tablet is a design classic by David Rowland and has been in production since 1964. You will find it both in St Paul's Cathedral and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. It has won many design awards and even passed the College test of being not only aesthetically pleasing and ergonomic but also durable and of high quality. After all, after spending 10 years getting to this point in the building project, we want them to last.
